Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the Prodigy Ideathon website and to participation in the programme, which is organised by Tera Compute LLP (“Tera Compute”). By using this site or taking part in the programme, you agree to these terms and to the linked policies.

The website

• Content is provided for information about Prodigy Ideathon and may be updated as the programme develops.
• We aim to keep information accurate and current; dates and details for Cohort 1 are confirmed with each participating school.
• Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or misrepresent your affiliation with the programme.
• Links to third-party sites (forms, documents, partner sites) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Participation

• Prodigy Ideathon is for students in Classes 9–12, participating in teams of 2–4 through a registered school. Students cannot register individually.
• A school must meet the minimum participation threshold to host its School Round, as set out in the School Onboarding MoU.
• Each team submits its solution deck in the prescribed Prodigy Ideathon format and presents within the allotted time.
• Full rules are on the Participation Rules page and in the rulebook shared with schools. The Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved.

Fees

The participation fee is ₹100 per participating student, calculated on the final confirmed student count. Tera Compute invoices the participating school. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Judging

Teams are scored independently by each judge against the published 50-mark rubric. Tie-breaks follow the published order. Judges’ decisions are final. Tera Compute coordinates the School Finale and Grand Jury panels.

Intellectual property

• Students and schools retain ownership of their original ideas and materials, subject to third-party rights.
• Tera Compute may use submitted programme materials for judging, administration, documentation, reporting and truthful programme-related communication.
• The “Prodigy Ideathon” name, the Prodigy mark and programme materials belong to Tera Compute and may not be used without permission.

Conduct and disqualification

Ideas must be original and appropriately attributed. Plagiarism, deliberate misrepresentation or breach of the Code of Conduct may lead to disqualification. AI tools may be used as permitted by the official rules; teams remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and understanding of their submission.

Liability

The programme and website are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, Tera Compute is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or participation in the programme. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Nature of the relationship

Participation and partnership do not create employment, agency, joint venture or exclusive partnership. Neither party may represent the other as providing government, board, accreditation or other institutional endorsement unless separately agreed in writing.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Delhi having jurisdiction.
