This policy explains what information Tera Compute LLP (“Tera Compute”, “we”) collects in connection with Prodigy Ideathon, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and enquiries made through it. Student registration is handled by participating schools through a separate official form, which carries its own notices.

Information we collect

Through this website we only collect information you choose to give us:

Enquiry details — when you use the contact or partnership forms: your name, email, organisation or school, role, and the content of your message. These forms are delivered to us by e-mail through Web3Forms, a form-to-email service, which processes the submission on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. If that service is unavailable, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled e-mail in your own mail application.
School registration interest — submitted through an external form (Google Forms). That form is governed by this policy and by Google’s terms as the form provider.

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Fonts and assets are served from the site itself. Any strictly necessary storage is limited to making the site work.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and coordinate participation or partnership.
To administer the programme — registration, judging, certificates, scheduling and reporting.
To send you programme-related updates you have asked for. You can opt out at any time.
To meet legal, accounting and safeguarding obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Students and minors

Prodigy Ideathon involves students in Classes 9–12. Student participation is coordinated by the participating school, which is responsible for obtaining any parental consent required under applicable law or school policy. Where we handle student-related information for judging or certificates, we keep it to the minimum needed and share it only with people involved in running the programme.

Sharing

We share information only with:

Participating schools, for coordinating their own students’ participation.
Judges and expert facilitators, limited to what they need to score or run a session.
Service providers that host our forms, email or documents, under confidentiality terms.
Authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

Retention

We keep enquiry and programme records for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for a reasonable period afterwards for reporting, audit and future cohorts, then delete or anonymise them.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you updates. Write to teracompute@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Photography and media

Programme events may be photographed or recorded for documentation and communication. Schools are asked to communicate any institutional restrictions in advance, and applicable consent and safeguarding procedures are followed where student-specific consent is required.
